OS Distro, Type, and Version.
It would help if people put down their distribution of GNU/Linux and/or version of Windows or other Operating system. That way we can use each other as testers for different platforms. I'll start Currently: Windows 98 Hopefully soon: cAos Linux Eventually hopefully: cAos Linux and ReactOS I can also do this for Hamish: GNU/Linux distribution : Fedora Core 4 (Fedora 7 in June) Windows version: Windows XP SP2 Please do this for yourself! :)

The MP3s could be used in a windows port... though if we can get it to play OGGs that would be better. (more standard between ports) Would there be a need for a Windows port? It would be cool to have a version of Free Empires for Windows but I thought the reason for this game was to have a knockoff of AOE for Linux. :?:

It is not as if we are going to be putting much effort into it :)

Don't feel bad, Windows XP isn't very exciting; I just use it for the wireless :D I know how XP is. Hamish is typing in it right now right next to me. The scary is that last January Hamish's XP was worse then my 98 now, and my 98 is slowly strangling itself to death! Windows is :evil: . We do not mean FreeBSD! We mean it in the evil sense. FreeBSD is not evil only its mascot is :lol:.
