Operating Systems: Microsnot Windows XP SP2 and Ubuntu Edgy Eft (6.10);

I'm just starting to get used to Kubuntu but I am quite fluent with openSuSE

I've only been working with Ubuntu for a month, but I've come to know it so well over the past few weeks that I hardly use my XP computer. OT: I was surprised to find that Ubuntu labeled my cellphone as 'iPod' when I first plugged it in

I have been using Fedora for 1 year and 4 months. I only use Windows for School.

I use windows for Gaming. The reason is I can't seem to install directX on Ubuntu.

3. Unit movement (Well right now more like Unit transportation because it just zaps to the cursor! Well I am working that out.) I'd like to have a look into that, too. We need a good pathfinding algorithm, got any ideas?

I'd also like to know a little about hoe the GUI will work. Will it be the same as AoE? I was also thinking perhaps because the GUI for AoK is a lot more revised in user-friendlyness and usefullness we could actually take certain nice features from AoK and put them into Free Empires. For example the Unit/Building information in the center with the buttons for the Unit/Building on the left. I like that layout a lot, and it seems to be implemented a lot in other games. Another idea would be that for people who prefer playing Free Empires with the original AoE layout instead of the AoK layout they can go to options and select which layout they want. If you think I'm jumping ahead here just tell me. I just thought I'd mention this because It was on my mind at the time.
