I just found this site yesterday coOLL Some of u guys talk like AOE1 is dead. Few of us still play it after all these years =) The only reason I havent fully converted to Linux is cuz you cant run AOE1 on it. yea you can use VMware but that lags it. and whats the point of using windows if ur on linux anyways =( I've always wanted some1 to make AOE again (This is were u guys come in Thanks!!) all these new games sucks. Just Add more Civ and Units to AOE1 is all AOers been asking for. We dont need better graphics or care about it. The gameplay is the selling point. Is good you guys are using AOE1 as a starting idea =) And if you guys still play AOE1 come Chowar and NS on GSA loL I help out the way I can: Spaming so others will know about FREE EMPIRES!!!! Count me in for Beta Testing. Note: And this time we need an on/off button for rivers maps!! Have the option of setting different pop limit. Theres so much more but Ill let u guys work on the game 1st.

I have been Wesnothing latley. It is so damn addictive. I still don't get the obsession with the undead though. I don't know if we can but I think that we should implement some of the features form Wesnoth into Free Empires (e.g. internet download add ons and official multiplay server). We shouldn't add the hexagonal map design though, while it is neat it isn't AOE.

As to Bonsters comment, I still play a lot of of AOE and ROR (Though AOK and TC are better).
