I would release a windows release but I am having packaging issues

June 2008 Intended maximum due date for SR 3.0 and will sprout the SDL GG. These are not cast in stone however. December 2008 Hopefully will have most domestic functions completed. SR 4.0? 5.0? December 2009 Hopefully have a playable RTS. SR 6.0? 7.0? CR 1.0? Development in 08 should be better then in 07 since I know Gambas a lot better now, though learning a new renderer should take some time but is probably worth it. Man in a few months it will be a year since Hamish Piga announced FE on Linux Questions. :o

Of course all is obstructed by Fedora package maintainers. June 2008: probable release date for at least one of the tech demos. September 2008: hopefully have SR 3.0 done.

Sorry to keep making excuses for SR 3.0 but I am hardly at fault for a power cord malfunction am I? My nice Unit Movement Tech Demo as well as my templates for the others are all inaccessible for the time being. Don't worry though I can recreate all that is necessary for a Source Release if I work at it. I can also continue to hack SDL on HamishPiga's Fedora 9 Workstation. I am still aiming at having something by the end of September, though of course this strains it.

also note I have kinda given up on the windows port, at least for now. There isn't much point in trying too restart until the release of SR 3.0 since it is such a major change. The Windows Version is so outdated that it would be easier too start from scratch. Also I am planning on attempting too port Gambas too Windows, which if it works would be a better solution.
